Here is my bike I'm going to rebuild, I traded my blaster for it. This is when I took a lot of the parts of like the plastic, gas tank, subframe, and the airbox. My friend's 99 cr250 is harder to kick over than my my 04 kx.

I will try to keep pics coming but my dad is really busy with our house, and he says that he has to take my bike apart because needs he needs to put it back together. Pretty soon I'll be doing the rebuilds. But I'm hoping he can rebuild it soon because I WANNA RIDE!

I got the carb out, drained the coolant, took the radiators off, and moved some other wires out of the way. I talked to my dad and he is going to let me take ther cylinder apart, I have watched a vid on how to take apart a 4 stroke and I might give it a shot. If I can get this bike running by myself I'm going to be very happy.

UPDATE!!! I know it's been a long time, but my dad finally helped me get the new piston on which is a .02 mm over. We got a less used cylinder from a newer bike on e-bay. I will try to get some pics while I'm putting my bike back together. I will also try to get a vid of me riding the bike, man it's going to be scary. But good thing I already rode my friends' kawi 250 and honda 250 2 strokes, I got me some experience now.

You better check the valves, those years had some serious valve issues. And you would be better off getting new ones, if they break off then all of this is for nothing

Both of them will put you on your ass quickly, the 250f even more so because it will hook up while the 250 will just spin
