I was riding my trike in the snow storm today and when i turned the engine reved up and did not go any were. I tried shifting thru all the gears nothing. When i start it and put it into gear and makes a whinny noise. Could it be a shift drum
Guess it's time to tear it apart. Leastwise on Hondas, there is a mechinism with the shifter that disengages the clutch when shifter is moved to prevent full power shifts.
I am not a KAWI mechanic, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn last night
Enough humor
Went to bike bandit and looked at the parts flitch. Two possibilities I see
1. Front sprocket is held by snap ring. That might have came off alowing sprocket to come off.
2. rear sprocket has four rubber dampeners , with sprocket sandwiched in but not directly bolted. Those might have failed allowing sprocket to just spin.
3. Still have to tear something apart8-|
