cant seem to gert it in right any help would be grealy appriciated i cant get it to recoil

u have to make sure the ring with the tab sticking down is in the right notch in the case, also make sure the spring is in the right notch or it will not recoil right......if u dont see any broken teeth then somethings just not lined up right

look at the pic in the service manual, that's about the best reference your gonna get, last time i rebuilt i swear i had it just right the first two times but it wouldn't recoil, the third time it worked like a charm, just takes a little patience

Just did mine today. the hard tab on the back goes in the slot in the case at about 1:00, the tab on the spring goes in the hole at about 2:30, and make sure you pull the bent end of the spring around the top to the right and put the end in the hole under the bolt on the top far left. Hope this helps.
