This maybe a quick fix but i think it could be more than that. I just picked up a 94 blaster and everything looks great on it. When I picked it up it was a little bit of a pain to get it to kick but it did. Now, I hammer on the thing and it just won't get it up. I've push started it and ran it for about 45min before killin it. It didn't have any issues kickin over after it had ran for awhile but i let it sit for MAYBE 5 min and it went back to being a douche. Any advice?

time to check compression, should be around 120psi.
anything around/under 100psi. needs attention asap.

try a new plug, check the reeds for cracks/chips, clean the carb and airfilter, check jetting while your in there and report back with your findings and all mods done to it.

it should also be leakdown tested.

It works properly, it just doesn't want to start. Sorry if my terminology was misleading

Sorry I misunderstood you. You need to do the following in this order.

-remove tors
-Leak test. Pm member AWK for a tester
-compression test. Buy or rent tester
-put in a new plug
-clean air filter
-clean carb and check jetting. Set float height while your there
-inspect reeds. Make sure they are fully closed

This should diagnose the problem. Report results as you do the tests. All the info on these tests can be found using the search button. Hopefully it will be something simple.

List all known modifications to the bike too.
