Key Switch 2001 blaster

New blaster owner needs help...

I purchased a 2001 Blaster, i see in the manuals that there should be a key switch, i don't have one. I guess the original owner removed it, the person i got it from doesnt know anything about it. Could somebody post a picture of theres and where its mounted? Or does anybody know of previous posts about this?
This is a picture of where i think it should be mounted.

They are normally mounted on a dashboard which is mounted to the steering stem. Which covers the handle bar mounts. You can get both used on ebay.

They key on the old style was mounted in the middle of the handle bars on the steering stem, most people removed them, i never use mine unless i dont want a friend to take off with my blaster

yeah mine was removed when i bought it also.... still doesnt have one... i just dont see the need where i live to have a key
