should the lid be on with a kn or off,runs wAYYY better with it off

Your jetting will change with the lid on and with it off.It will get more air flow with the lid off but do a plug chop to check your jetting.

I run no lid with my K&N on the Blaster. Runs really good.

my blaster had ak&n with no lid.. not sure on jettin.. just know its to rich.. havent messed with the jketting yet sinc ei have a new pipe coming

What's your jetting at iconic?

Hmm, off hand I can't remember. The only time I changed the jetting was when I installed the Toomey pipe, and I only changed the main jet. For some reason a 320 main jet sticks in my mind but I could be wrong, whatever comes with the Toomey kit.

i drilled a bunch of quarter size holes in mine because k&n's let in microns. a micron is smaller than a grain of sand so watch it... uni foam filter dont let anything by even sand just to think about

I also run with the lid off. And she likes it!!!

Like I said.Lid off is better but you have to jet for it.No lid=more air flow=leaner air-fuel mix.
