Justblastins 02 complete rebuild

Just ordered that same bolt kit this morning,how are the quality of them? Worth the buy i hope?
I feel that they are but all the bolts and nuts are mismatched in my blaster so it maybe cause I need them! But I feel like it's a good purchase

I have the engine in peices now! Head to get a puller pusher to get the crank out. How do I get the bearings out?

Im not an expert,one of the other guys will have the best idea on how,but i didnt have my pullers(buddy still hasnt gave them back and lives 60 miles away)but i used my heat gun and sweated mine out,all came out very quick&easy with not much heat
 
I bought a toaster oven big enough to fit the cases in. Put them in, cranked it to 250 degrees for 20 mins, smaked the case half down on a flat piece of wood and walla! Bearings fell out. For the clutch actuator bearing, a blind bearing puller works great with heat.
 
So it been a rough day! Got the crank out and started cleaning up the cases and found a crack, looks like when I blew a peice of some thing went around with the crank and push the case enough to that the counter weight hit the case and cracked it! Not sure what to do, I don't know any one in the area that can weld it, I'm at a lose. What do you guys think? Oh ya and I was told this motor never sat outside and there is no way water could have gotten in!

U need a new case a crank travels at about 150mph and u shouldn't run with crack and I believe u can't even weld that if u wanted to
 
I have a buddy the went to school for machine work and his dad is amazing with aluminum so I'll bring it to see what he says
 
Well my bad new yesterday still sucks but new parts today makes it a little better. Tors delete, idel screw kit and Vito's 3 mm stroker crank showed up!

you'll be happy i have same year and went all the way to frame. Got parts and motor work from KOR. 500+ miles on motor now still ripping.
Ya I'm pumped he is highly recommended by every one! This was supost to be just a new top end and have a blaster for my wife! But now it's a full rebuild and a blaster for me and my wife will get my 03
 
So I have blown my budget on this thing so figure I'll use some of stuff that was on it. So started cleaning the dg silencer I know it's not the best but saves me some cash! Not looking to bad so far.

Hey guys I'm getting ready to start reassembling the engine hopfully by the end of the week and I was wondering how much power hp this thing is going to have things getting done cylinder bored not sure how much but I'm guessing 40 over Kor head mod mild port I'll be doing raising exhaust 1mm 3 mm Vito's crank boysen racing reeds for now stock head pipe and dg silencer oil delete outer wears air box cover. What do you guy think she's going to make for power?
 
So I went to take off my hubs and pull the axle so I can prep the carrier for pain some one welded the hub not on so I had to cut it off along with threads on the axle so now I have to find an axle! One thing after another with this thing I can't win!
