so i finnally split the cases yesterday, got everything apart, and started ordering parts seals, bearings and what not...its getting a new stator and plate, but i was just about to order the stator and totally forgot to exactly mark where the old one was at before i removed it...is this going to be a problem when i put it back together with the new plate and stator? :o

Not a big deal if it's a stock plate. Stock plates have very little adjustment unless someone cut it for an advance mod. The stock plate has a steel plate on the left side that that is bent at a 90 degree angle to the plate. If the plate has been cut, bottoming out the steel plate by turning clockwise is about a 5 degree advance.

dont buy a ricky stator.....they are junk. their adjustable plates are ok tho....

also removing it form stock plate, isnt an issue really....
