Would this cause a low end bog? The guy I got the quad from said the motor blew up and he found little pieces of "something" in the cylinder and then he rubuilt the motor. He never checked the reeds. I just pulled them out trying to figure out why no carb adjustment at all made a difference.

Def your problem I had bad reeds with just a ili bit chewed off the ends and its bogged bad

That would cause more than a low end bog....

yeah my reeds looked identical to that same crack etc. it started and just bogged for like 30 15 and wouldnt start

it was a pain to start sometimes. But get her wound up and it would run good. I took it out today after replacing the reeds. Runs pretty good but I still have a tiny low end bog. I think I need to fatten the pilot up just a little. But the quad is badass!!
