Just changed needle won't stop revving high

just did a leakdown... took carb cleaner sprayed the carb while engine was on... no sputtering or anything.... no cracks or rips on the intake manifold boot thing (the 1 from carb to cylinder).... i think it might be a jet problem bec my throttle isnt sticking
If it is, its in the pilot jet.
Your main jet doesnt have anything to do with your idle.
You could pull your main jet out and it should still idle.

yeah i would pull my main jet out.... but im kinda like... challenged with carbs and actually doing something on an engine... so a quick test will turn into a top end rebuild =/
Well, to be honest, you either need to get over it and learn, or find yourself a good blaster mechanic.
Taking a carb apart and cleaning it, adjusting the float, changing jets, etc is actually really easy.

Is the gas old??? because thats whats was wrong with mine and also it wouldnt idle we tried tuning the throttle but that didnt do s*** so i took out the old oil and the old gas because they were 10 yrs old and like majick it worked
