jug chipping

hey guys was just wondering the black paint or w.e it is on my jug is starting to chipp what should i do like can i just get is sand blasted or glass beaded to take alll the black off but if i do that wont it rust on me any advice appreciated

no worries bro....the jug is aluminum, its not gonna rust

ok thanks bro so i can just get the jug glass beaded or sand blaster but how do i protect the inside of the cylinder
