hiya guys been realy busy with ''project blaster'' recently. it seems everytime i try to do something on the cheap i end up splashing the cash anyway!!! when ever i come on here for a bit of inspiration [theres a hell of alot of nice blasters on hereI:I] it sends me all OCD and i end up turning a small job into a mod fest!!! if after some advice for jetting the stock carb on my blaster. the engine mods will be...

MX ported cylinder 67mm bore with prox piston, reshaped head with full on squish band, hot rods crank, all bearings seals and gaskets in engine and gearbox replaced and new engine crank cases, vitos oil block off,f7 pipe and silencer, vitos boost bottle, vforce reed setup, twinair filter, open airbox. stock carb and stock ignition timing. ps in the summer temp is around 15-20 celcius max, fuel is 95-97 octane.

i would just like o know what guys with similar setup are using. i know theres alot more to it than just throwing in a jet thats near enough but im just after a good starting point.
thanks guys :D

my similar set-up was using a 320 main(slightly rich), the 290 pulled sooo hard, but plug color was a little light, needle clip 3rd down, and stock pilot, i had a 35 pilot i wanted to try but switched to a 34mm carb now

nice, thanks for the reply, you reckon i should try getting a 290 and a 300 main and see how it runs on the 290 if its a bit lean go to the 300?
what oil mix do you use? thanks

i'd get the 320. 300 and 290, start big, read the plugs and work your way down, and i have ran "maxima super m" in 2 different bikes, it's mid priced good oil, my brand new 96 ran hard for 8 years and never needed rings, sold it with the stock piston and rings in it, started 1 -2 kicks everytime
