Would you have to change your jet if an aftermarket silencer is on? Im not sure if pipe is stock or not, what would you recommend with this setup to start out w/ jet

vito 240 kit
k n filter
aftermarket exhaust
vito carbon fib reeds
air box removed
elavation is 585 ft according to google

thanks all is appreciated when i get it running next week after new parts come will start jetting

Id get main jets 300-340 and try those.

FWIW, I am at around 1000 feet everywhere I ride, and I am running a 290 Main Jet.

I have an FMF Fatty pipe, Power Core II Silencer, K&N Filter, No Lid on Airbox. It MAY be a big bore? I don't know. I bought it used. It has Wiseco stickers all over everything and was rebuilt at some point. But I am not sure if it was ported/big bored, etc. But assume its only the mods mentioned and I run a 290 main.

I truely dont think it was ported or big bored but who knows ...

^^^ thats what I was thinking. That cylinder is going to be starving with a stock carb on it. I'd look for a 33-35mm carb.

I also have an FMF Fatty pipe, Power Core II Silencer, K&N Filter, No Lid on Airbox, Bored .20. What jet kit do I need for mine or should I also run with a 30 mm carb. Please let me know so im not starving for power.

Thanks

stnditup2: Same set up as me. I have a Fatty, PCII Silencer, K&N, No Lid, and engine has been bored, but not sure what the overbore is. I ride at around 1000 feet elevation and I am running a 290 Main Jet, stock needle in middle clip (But could actually be leaned one spot if your getting picky about it) stock pilot, air screw 1.5 turns out.

ok i got a 32mm carb (by measurements) what should i start at like 320? then work down. I also have to order a cable in order to put carb in onlyway to do with removin the tors correct?
