I just finished a top end rebuild on my blaster and throttle response is very poor. It is bored .030 over, has a vito's high flow air filter, and airbox lid removed. It had a 240 main jet before i rebuilt, so i rejetted at 260. After riding for a few minutes i checked the sparkplug and it is gray colored. Should i try a smaller or larger jet? Thanks

try putting the airbox lid back on, if it runs better with it on you motor needs more fuel so jt up and then you can remove the lid and get a small power gain

i tried with and without the airbox lid and there is not much difference....maybe slightly better with the lid on , but it has very little power. This is my first rebuild so is this normal before being completely broke in or is there a problem yet?

get a bigger jet fer real...like a 300 or something...idk but if its now a 240...i would think that it would take a bigger jet then the 300 i got with my toomey pipe...? jus a question...?
