jetting question

the main should have been jetted up 2 sizes for what you already have, and i usually go another 2 sizes for every 30 degree drop in temps. if it's 55 when you go riding at noon, but expect into the 30's after sunset, jet for the lowest temps you expect to encounter.

for instance, i run a 155 main in my keihin PJ34 all summer, i throw a 162 in it as soon as the temps drop into 50 degrees (oct/nov) been doing this same jetting for over 3 seasons now and it runs fine enuf without fouling plugs.
i do not fool with rejetting down if we get some warm days, we're not racing here, just trail riding.
I never ride that bike below 40's, you might catch me on the stockish black bike once or twice for second season hunting when it's into the 30's, any colder and i stay home.

Not trying to confuse the issue, but I handle the lower temps by changing from 25:1 to 32:1 oil ratio. that is about one jet size bigger.
