what would you recomend the jets be with the mods listed below. also whats stock pilot jet size for a muniki?

i had a 310 in it. didnt wanna idle and boged out real bad. so i dropped down to a 300#,and runs a whole lot better. but still wont idle thouggh. ive had it for 3 years, not once have i got the carb figured out right.

turned it every way, itll idle only when i turn the screw out like 5 or 6 turns but its really high. then when i go to turn the air screw in or out to adjust the idle it bogs out. idk whats up.

300 main jet isnt a lil too big?
i just installed a 260 today and it fires up with one kick no choke and doesnt seem to bog(i havent rode it yet mind you)

well with my mods. no, your better rich then lean. a spark plug costs about 4 bucks and a top end rbuild from being to lean is about 100$ soo you figure it out

i have a wiseco crank,bored 67.5mm piston,ken oconnor trail port,kens milled head,procircuit platinum exaust.
so if a 260 is too small then why did people tell me to get 3 sizes up from stock and start from there?

i hope to god you are not useing the stock carb

a 310 jet wouldnt make it not idle the main jet has nothing to do with idleing its for wid open throttle and a plug chop would solve all yopur carb problems

a 260 is too small for any moda except maybe an aftermarket air filter and a dg pipe

my sons ran great all last season and this season so far with the stock carb and a 300 main, stock needle/middle clip and stock 32.5 pilot
running a power pro's, then lrd pipe, open airbox with uni filter and vf3's

that cant be too good,i waited 3 weeks just to hear the 260 is too small sheesh
im not dissing ken,but he told me to start with 3 up from stock which is 230 so 260 is just the start off point.then maybe ill go from 260 to 290 then last it would have to be in the 300's.

let me fix this
ken told me to start 3 up from stock which would be 260/270/280
wildcard sent me 240/250/260 by accident

i'd start in the 300's, possibly 320, and work down, my guess is around a 300 + or - a size or so,
hows it running ????
you arent noticing a lean bog at wide open throttle ???

and yeah 3 sizes up for just kens porting may be right, but i'd say the pipe is gonna need a few sizes bigger too, although that pipe looks very stockish/DG looking, which doest flow much better than stock, i'd still try bigger and see what happens

and read and learn to do a plug chop, nobody, not even ken can tell you exactly what jet is gonna work for you, you have to fine tune it, with plug chops yourself,

and why is this the first time your asking us for jetting help on here ??????
/\/\ knowing how, and doing plug chops is the only answer to that question

oh ive asked before and everyone had the same answer.it all has to do with my elevation and so on.
do i really want to open her up?especially when i just rebuilt it? id like to if it doesnt blow up from not breaking it in!!
it only takes 1 kick to start cold no choke and idles perfect
a DG pipe whats that?
is it better then a procircuit platinum?id better get one if it is
who wants to trade?

it starts hard. like 6 or 7 kicks with choke out. then when i go to open it up first threw fourth gear bogs down right before powerband kicks in. but 5th and six are exalent.
