jetting problems

well today i get my blatser out to ride and its the warmest its been in a while like 67 degrees and i start it up everything seemed fine.... then once i get going down the trail to my cousins house it had like no power at all and was getting extremely hot so i came home and popped the plug threw a new one in and ran it again and came back and its running lean so i was like ok im done for the day.. my mods are in my sig. and im currently running a 260 main in my stock carb its deff gotta be jetting off right? cuz the other day when it was like 40 45 50 it ran like a raped ape and no problems now it was running like crap and i dont wanna blow it up.....so do i go up in jet sizes?

If it ran good when it was colder and is now running lean in warmer weather I'd say you've got an air leak.

yea true but idk where it could be besides where my header meets the jug cuz i looked everywhere else

yea sounds like a air leak cause the warmer it gets the richer she will run,what did the plug looklike when you swaped it out for a new 1.

take some wd-40 and spray around the motor and if it changes it thats were the leak is at..
and how does the motor act do you have good lower and power but it cuts out early then its lean OR is it just doggy everywere in the power band rich???
AND what does the plug look like??

the plug was sort of white looking while before it was a lil more chocolate and ran good

Whites not right,lol. I guess you could have carb trouble if it's not an air leak, either way you need to fix it or your gonna burn a piston.

lol i know it was deff getting hot so thAts y i shut it off it acted like it was starving for fuel but i might have an air leak the jetting could be offi think this week im gonna pull my gaskets off and replace em and go over and see how it runs
