normally i dont ask jetting questions because iv read every jetting how to online lol..

BUT iv never had to change pilots!!

my 250r has a pod filter and pipe, stock 34mm kehin pe carb, it has a 50 pilot and 150 main..

i know i gotta jump or 2 on the main since it detonates at high rpm not alot but noticeable

anyways.. the rpms hang now and then when i pull in the clutch so i need to go up on the pilot.. how much do you jump on when changing pilots??? 1-2-3-4? 5?? sizes?? my rpms hang a little but come down.. and it dont always hang

just try turning the airscrew in a little at a time..that may be all you have to do...if you get it 1/4 or half turn from all the way in and its still lean then you need the next biggest size.

im gonbna try that tommrow also BUT im gonna pick up a pilot jet just in case.. this motor has really low hours on it, wiesco piston and rings, and i dont wanna blow it up.. shes on her last bore

If your airscrew doesn't have effect, only jump the pilot size by one, then try again. I would imagine if it's running somewhat decent, you aren't too far off. Also, you said that the rpm's hang "now and then". I would check for airleaks just to be safe.
