Linares, Chile.
Hi guys, I have a standard 98s Blaster, but this weekend im gonna install a DMC exhaust, K&N Filter and V-Force 4. What jet I have to use? I boght a Vitos jet Kit.

I know... my english sucks... thanks from Chile!

DMC Alien exhaust = #260
K&N filter +1 = #270
Air box lid off + 2 = #290
Pre mix 32:1 +1 = #300

Stock needle on lowest clip (richest) winter, one clip up summer.

Start one jet size bigger than you think and plug chop to confirm.

Throw away the Vitos needle or keep it to remove wax from your ears.

Exists a scale for choise depending on temperature?

no chart/scale that i know of.
i've found my blaster to like 2 sizes larger jet for temps under 60f down into the high 30's,
i'd go 1 size larger for temps down into the 20's, but usually ride the couch in those temps.

Hey guys, I had instaled the dmc and K&N... it was a great change! But now I feel I lost power in low rpms... I have to do something with the pilot jet? Im using 260 Main jet.

What is your elevation? How did you determine that 260 is what you need? I am not familiar with the DMC pipe or what jetting it likes. Might have to adjust your air screw to improve bottom end. I would leave the stock pilot in there.

DMC calls for a #260 with no other mods, the installation sheet calls for the needle to be set in the richest position (bottom clip) but I find in summer it can come up one.

The DMC Alien is a thirsty pipe in the lower rev range as it favours the lows very much.

Stock pilot, bit you will have to adjust the idle, as it adds a little to the needle.

Main jet bears no relation to the needle, the needle works up to 3/4 throttle and then hands over to the main.

DMC literature says to run the stock needle at its richest, bottom clip.
