Well, I'm getting close to being able to buy a Shearer pipe and I know I have to rejet the carb, so anyone know the best I could buy?

best what? best carb? since your bike seems to be just about stock i would not go much bigger than a 28mm carb. Then you will have to jet from there. I am running a 150 main in a 34mm PJ. But my bike is pretty modded.

Yeah, mine is completely stock and I've never done anything to any other quads, so this is my first one I'm modding at all, so I need some assistance on what all to buy to get the pipe running at peek performance.

you can jet it up to run well w your stock 26mm mikuni carb. I would start out at a 250 main and work your way up til it is running best. Then do a plug chop and make sure it is running the correct a/f ratio.

Okay this is going to make me sound really noobie... what is an a/f ratio. Thanks for putting up with my noobieness.

you DO NOT want to start at a 250 and go up, you want to go higher like 280-300 and work backwards. if you start at a 250 it may be too lean and burn ur motor down before you even get to another jet change. start rich and do plug chops and work your way down to the proper jetting

Hmm. Alright. I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing as you guys can tell... this is a noob question I'm sure, but what would happen with stock jetting?

It will prob run ok but bog when you smash it (wot) noob terms Wide open throttle, anyway I just put mine on tonight so im going to start jetting/tuning mine soon. I'll be sure to let you know what I come up with. By the way you know these pipes are fu@king LOUD!! right? But you can feel the diff for sure
