if i bump up my jet from the stock 230 to a 260, do i need to bump up my pilot too??? if so, to what size?!?!

only up to 260 you'll most likely be fine and will be able to get things right with the air screw. May want to put the needle clip down one to bring the needle up a bit also, but trial and error is the only way to tell for sure.
