japan sure got a bad one

I'm wondering about the 1/4 degree shift of the earths axis that happened. and if they can't get the Fukushima Reactor under control , no ones ever seen a complete meltdown of a reactor , and the staggering amounts of radiation that will be released will be a billion times worse than all the raw crude that was pumped into the gulf last year .

Thats my point I diddnt belive in 2012 but sure makes you think,it seems to me they will get the reactor under control if it happens there is a meltdown alot of people are fudged also car industry and the country were beloved yamahas are made might be destroyed, doubt it will happen but to think theres a chance it could!!

The shift of our axis changed the length of a day by a very small fraction of a second, no big deal.

but we have seen one similar event, chernobyl back in '86, it would be 5x as bad as that. and that accident left a huge area uninhabitable and thousands died and spread radiation across the planet. No one really knows how bad a nuclear meltdown can be, if all 5 reactors meltdown, we could be getting high doses of radiation here.

i dont think the world is going to end in 2012.i ment just look at the weather changes and the axis deal.just the last 2 yrs are messed up.wonder what our part of the world has stored up for us in the near future.i know this is the longest winter we've had in history.not supposed to warm up till may, global warming my ass

Can only be one thing.......ALIENS!!!!!ahhh lol but its gotta be something I personly think global warming but different to what were expecting, rember theres been an ice age before maybe winter will get so long it will never sun again lol

agh dont say that i mean sure id like to see a alien invasion but a all year round winter till the day i die.that would suck.lol

we would be unable to grow enough crops either. and our fresh water would be harder to get to. It would be fun for a while, but the seriousness would set in soon enough if there was all year round winter.

an axis shift could result more than just a longer day , the degree in which the earth sits is crucial to our climate . if we are too far from the sun , eternal winter , too close , we boil . Earth is sitting in just the right spot to support life as we know it , subtle changes on a planetary scale aren't subtle at all . People get a cold month and say Global Warming is a crock . When speaking globally , you look for patterns that aren't monthly or one season to the next . You find severe climate changes , and structural changes to the earths bio mechanics of cooling , heating and protection from the lethal solar radiation emitted by the sun.
