IT490 build?

putting the motor in is easy, I did an it 465. slight trimming on the swingarm, new front mounts. The old big yammies really needed some head work to stop from detonating. I mounted rubber isolators on the front and bottom motor mounts and on the bars. Vibration on the bars wasn't bad but the vibration on the pegs would put your feet to sleep. you also needed to fill your back pockets with lead shot tom haver enough azz to start it, and if it kicked back, mother of all god, why is my knee impaled into my forehead... The pipe is trhe expensive part.

Ill let you know what size bore I need how can I upload the picture of my scores on the cylinder because I'm not sure if they're small enough to get away with a hone

Did it break a ring? Looks like its out above the piston, id hone it an see how it is, if you dont have a hone i do, so let me know an ill hone it if you bring it over tomorrow, my garage is in natrona heights,

Well I'm gonna be in kittanning tomorrow I'll go to Jackson's and see what they say. And I didn't take the jug off yet so I don't know what happened

By the look of the cylinder bore something nasty has got up the transfer port.

I am confident in saying that the score is not going to hone out!

My bet is a bad crank bearing or thrust washer caused those gouges. A hone isn't going to cut it.

I've never dealt with anything crank-wise so I don't know what happened. It sounded like a normal blow I revved it and it just stalled but I could still slightly kick it over
