you COULD do that, BUT i would have a machine shop do time serts. its a MUCH better solution

im going to bring my top end to school and install them there but i dont have the money for time serts. and are these the right size and come with the stuff i need to fix my studs?

yes they do, but the time serts are well worth the money.


i had 2 helicoils pull out of my jug, and another hole that had one in it that had pulled out on the previous owner.

these things are the sh*t. ive used a few already and i have not had one fail on me that was installed properly.

definitely blanshee, the only one that failed on me was where an old heli-coil had pulled out. this jug is a mess, the only holes that DONT have time serts are the intake holes

i had the same problem with heli coils. 3 pulled out. i just replaced them with new heli coils, but i wish i didnt
