Is this spark weak? and Stator Questions

I couldn’t get my video to download, but I can't seem to get a blue spark from what I've read about in previous posts. Still unable to get my project Blaster running. I thought it might be the coil based on the ohm reading I received but the replacement had the same readings and same no start results. From what I've been reading, I'm thinking possibly the stator is probably my next culprit. I’m not sure how to test the stator so I might try to find a cheap one.

Anybody have any experience with this ebay new aftermarket stator?

Am I better off with Yamaha OEM, or finding a used part? Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks

Seems ok. Never used that brand. There's a link in my sig for a service manual. That will help you test .

Make sure flywheel and poles on stator are rust free, all wire connections are clean and tight, maybe add dielectric grease. make sure gounds are clean and tight including coil. Does plug cap by itsself ohm ok? Trim 1/4" off plug wir before installing cap. Hopefully you do/try all the free things before you just start throwing parts at it.

Thanks, I'll go thru all the connections again. Does the cap seperate from the plug wire? How is the cap re-attached after I cut the 1/4"?

The cap has a threaded pin that threads into the center of the wire. Standard threaded .
