i think it is the same no matter what year, mine came of an 01. its much more open than stock. i don't know how it compares to those others but the opening is the right size for the 34mm carb w/ just an extension pipe i think i'm using a 2 1/4" silicone coupler and i have a little intermediate pipe between that and the airbox. there is no weird bends or anything. I don't have any close up pics of it but the flow is just straight through.
