well i tore apart my motor after losing compression and power. heres what i found.
i have a ported cylinder!!! WOOT WOOT!!
my top piston ring is stuck booo
i have a piston boost modifaction.
and i have a stuck reed pedal.
so my qeustions are.
my blaster wouldnt idlel and i noticed my pedal was stuck open when i pulled the jug off. would that have affected my idle and would it caused me to lose compression beside my stuck ring??

yes to all of the above, the reeds must close tightly for an accurate compression test
and what the hell is a "piston boost modification" ????
 
awk go to flotex. they cut holes in your piston for some performance reasons idk just go to flotext websites and go to blaster section and go to the piston mod
 
I believe that "piston boost modification" is where blind holes are drilled in the piston adjacent the ports to increase the volume of the crankcase to allow just a little more mixture to be crammed.
