intake gaskets

i made this intake gaskets from a piece of rol gasket they feel and look way better than the one that came with the kit, any body done this before? im gonna try them out and see, but im not sure if i should use some rtv too is that a good idea?

yea man use a little bit not too much you only need a bit. If you do that you'll know you dont have air leaks. And the gaskets look really good, where did you get the gasket paper?

IMO I do not use RTV, thats what gaskets and the correct torqure are for. I would never use it around the intake. If the gasket leaks look to see were and see if there is a problem in that area. Then make another to fix it. You have a ton of gasket paper.

Let us know how the work. Maybe you could sell some if they work good.

sure pm me your add. and ill hook you up, try them out and see what u think but soon as you get them in your hands you can tell they feel better that the ones you buy...i got the roll at pep boys and i had the gasket from the kit to use it as templet
