Incorrect silencer and tailpipe??!

So i had a buddy whos very bright with quads in general and he thinks the reason my quad is running poorly in the top end because the silencer and tail pipe to it are both the wrong size.. the previous owner must have made it homself with a random silencer. What do you chaps think??

The same friend o mine is going to let me borrow his silencer and tail pipe to hopefully confirm the theory. He also mentioned i could just try it without the silencer but it would be very loud... help me out fellas!

I would clean that air filter first andI would definitely replace that hacked up silencer

Haha i got a new air filter for christmas actually!! That and the brake cable i needed for the back brakes! Iv tried almost everything else... just wondered if anyone can speak from experience with a tailpipe/silencer combo giving them similar issues.

Lol new to the forum. One of those threads has all the troubleshooting and symptoms in them. I keep comming up with new discoveries! This being the most recent
