In gear and will not move!!!!

Let me start by saying i know very little about these quads.I have a 1997 blaster i got for 650 last week it ran great for a couple hours until i tried to climb a hill and it just STOPPED !!! The motor is running and the sprokets are turning but the back wheels are not moving.Can anyone help me?

ummm... the back sprocket is spinning but the wheels dont turn??
if so your axle or sprocket hub are stripped out..

Is the rear hub with the sproket supposed to have teeth all the way through?

yes, the sprocket should have teeth all the way around... are you missing teeth on it?

yes the end that is next to the bearings is smooth

the front or rear sprocket? is the chain moving at all? if ur missing or have not teeth left on it thats the issue

Both sprokets move and the chain and the hub but the wheels and axle do nothing.I tried to tighten the bolts on the axle but it did nothing

either your hub is stripped or the axle is stripped

Thanks I will try to replace the hub and if that doesn't work I'll try the axle and I'll let you guys know

the axle can be a pain in the a** to work on lol.
