I got between 120 and 150psi on my compression, got fire...cleaned the carb, new reeds, hasnt started up at all or even tried too, any help would be great

That's a large range on compression you gave. You will have to give a better number then that.Double check your reeds to make sure there installed rite and are sealing.

Does it have spark? do you still have the parking brake or tors systems still installed?
These 2 systems can cause problems with starting , idle and revving issues throughout the powerband .

changed the carb the reeds are fine switched out the cdi then the wire harness swapped stators and coils....got some starter fluid it will run breifly like 10 secs at high revs then nothing about ready to spray the bike with the starter fluid and catch it on fire

So you switched out the harness to no avail?

Did you run through that electrical troubleshooting section with a mulitmeter and test all of the components like we talked about?

You 4 ingredients for internal combustion engine of any make or model sice the beginning of time air fuel compression and spark do a process of elimination.

If he can get it to start on starting fluid, hes got spark, timing, and compression covered IMO.

X-2. You either got a MAJOR MAJOR air leak where it won't suck thru carb or something is jacked with the carb/fuel system:o. Although you never did get back with an accurate comp test. :D

Never us starting fluid on a 2 stroke!!!!!. It doesn't have oil in to lube the cylinder and worst then that, it will wash off what oil film you do have.

agreed^^^

ima say airleak on this. but im partial to the cdi as well. i believe the manual has the ohmic values of the cdi so you can test if need be.
