the is my first time attempting a top end rebuild. I have new piston, pin, clips, bearing and all new gaskets. For re-assembly do i just rub raw premix oil on the cylinder walls and piston. What about the top end bearing and bottom crank bearing. DO either of them get and extra lube or oils. Or do those get lubrication from the gas-oil fuel mixture. thanks in advance. IM new to the internals of an engine.

um wats the reason for rebuilding? did u have the cylinder bored over for a nice new clean cylinder or r u just replacing the piston bc u may need a new bore if the walls r scored...

dip your finger in some 2 stroke oil and rub it around the piston and rings, and rub it inside the cylinder.
once you get the new piston on the connecting rod get someone to help you .
One person hold the cylinder while the other squeezes the piston rings and CAREFULLY slides it into the cylinder .
torque the bolt to the proper amount(forget exactly)
and slowly push down on the kickstart to see if everything is moving correctly.(maybe put some more oil in there just to make sure.
once everything is good slap your head on and torque down to proper specs and begin the break in.

it is also a good idea to dip your finger in 2 stroke oil and coat your wrist pin and bearing. it deff wont hurt, you want a light coat on the things that specialized 7 listed along with the wrist pin and bearing. hope we were able to help.

thanks guys went all back together just as easy as i took it apart. I thought it would be hard to slide the piston back into the cylinder but it went in super easy. im waiting on the mailman to bring my block off kit tomorrow to fire it up. cant wait.
