i had no internet so i have not been around for awhile

what has been going on any new stories or anything

also another thing taxes are right around the corner so the means a full rebuild for my blasty :) (: i have a flat slide carb i also wanna run on it my question is if i ship my whole motor to ken at kor after he recambers my head ports it (bore it if needed) would he check out my bottom end to and tell me what it need's ? if he will how much does he charge? im almost looking into a whole motor overhaul and want it ready to rip for the summer im good at rebuilding 2 smokes but i am so busy it would be worth it to just have him do a complete rebuild and it will be broken in when i recieve it :)

All ken's prices are here: prices

I think when i was looking into sending my whole motor for an overhaul with all of the goodies, crank rebuild, bearings/seals, new top end, bore/hone, porting, head mos, flywheel lighten, and case matching i was looking at 7-800 plus parts. by the time parts was added think i was at 1100. But for that price youll get an engine that you know is done right!

thanks for the help and yeah thats not bad idk if ill do the lightened flywheel and stuff and if the bottom end is still good i wont worry about it but i usually just do top and bottom at the same time last rebuild was in '92.. running low on compression so i know a top end it deff needed

most of my builds last for years to come and this is a perfect example

kinda surprised awk hasnt chimed in here haha im almost positive awk has 2 motors built by ken him self

wassup frankin,
good to see you back around :)
and yes, all awks motors are fully KOR built, no matter the costs, can i do it...yep, but it's just much simpler to allow a true profeesional to do my stuff, know it's correct, and ride with confidence in the reliability !
and no...you will not recieve a "broken in" motor.
it'll need leakdown tested, heat cycles, retorqued head and base bolts, and i like to do "no sustained wide open runs" for a few rides, then let her rip.

ok thanks for clearing that up i though he did the break in too (only because i saw some videos of him doing a break in) i was confused looking at 600 now just in port work lighten flywheel and more the 600 is not including the part's for rebuild
