Idles to fast

I am getting a tors removal kit . Do I just unplug the wires going to the TORS and install kit or is there more electrical work that has to be done?

unplug it from under the hood and at the carb of course and your done ...if you want u can gut the thumb throttle box too

What needs to be done @ thumb throttle ?

you can take switch out of housing and plug hole with silicon or cut wire right at housing

Picked up used carb from e-bay with TORS already removed, rebuilt it with parts I had rebuilt my original carb with, (the one that started this thread) and starts right up, idles sweet, runs like a beast ! Now I gotta work on front brakes. Thanks everyone for your feedback.
