Idles, but wont run

Ok, i have a 02 Blaster, all stock, still on the injector. It will start and idle, but when ya try to give it gas it wont idle up, if you mash the throttle down and hold it there, it will kinda backfire and die. I thought maybe i had fouled a plug, so i put a new one in, but it just does the same thing. Seems to be runnin pretty rich... Need some help quick, gotta get this thing runnin right for Memorial day weedend! thanx

ya it was black, so ya think it may have fouled the new plug immediatly?

yeah it was runnin rich then try turning your air fuel mixture screw all the way in then back it out 1.5 turns out.if thats not it you may have to big of a jet in it.

Alright, ill try that, ive had it bout 4 months, its ran great every time till now so i wouldnt think it would be the jet? but i dont know much boutem so... lol thanx for the help man

I adjusted the mixture screw, so its right, pulled the new plug back out, still looks good, but now i cant even get the thing to start.....

two wires coming out of the carb disconnect them then under the hood theres two boxes the one with two wires coming out disconnect them.You getting spark?

id unhook the tors check for spark if tors is hooked up still thats probly it.

i traced the two wires outta the carb, is the little metal box under the hood the right one, the wires dont unplug i think i would have to cut them, so i wanna make sure. What does the tors control?

its a black box theres two on one side its the top one

So what does the tors system do? All i can find is one big black box, under the hood with bout 8 wires comin out of it

just disconnect i ended up removing all unused wires but you dont have to.if this dont work only thing else i can think of is checking your reeds for cracks/holes.
