idle problem

new to this forum. i needs some advice on my blaster. i had just recently put a vitos 240 kit, v force3 reed system, and a 30mm cpw carb, just put a 170 jet in today. started it wouldnt idle unless you hit the gas but when you hit the gas it would bog down and stall. it also has a lrd pipe and project blaster aluminum airbox.

sounds to me like your main jet is too low. with that kind of work it should be higher. see wat some of the people with that kind of work done say

well i just bought 170-180 main jets today and the 170 didnt help much

You need to tune the pilot, airscrew, and needle then the main.

might sound stupid but is there plenty of gas if its low and not turned to res on the tank it will sputter an cut out

i took the carb apart took the pilot screw out, checked to see if there was any dirt it was clean so i put it back in. how do you adjust it?

well there isnt alot of gas but covers bottom of tank
