I have this kdx running.but noticed that it won't idle very long with out throttling it or else it gradually drops in rpm and eventually dies out.I've not cleaned the carb yet that's this weekend.but when I had it apart to check jetting it looked clean.jetting is 45/158 and it runs like a raped ape everywhere else besides idling.I plan to soak the carb in berrymans or seafoam to see if its just a clogged passage.does anyone have anny ideas?or is there anything on these pwk 35 carbs to pay extra attentionn to?I have noticed if you choke it the rpms go up but it idles.which indicates lean at idle which leads me to belive its clogged or do I need a bigger jet?btw the plug looks perfect.

I plan to.but I've been thinking about it and being the fact it runs perfect choked maybe I need to go up a size or two on the pilot jet?

fiddle with the screw first, its not going to blow up on you if you do so the the practical first before you start over analyzing things in theory
Air cleaner is a brand new freshly oiled uni drop in replacement.I've dicked with the screw and can't get it to idle it still eventually drops in rpm until it dies.ill clean it and start over and get back to you guys thanx I appreciate the help.
