is this because my tors is not hooked up, and could of been improperly unhooked as well.....if so would do i bypass it properly..
idle but wont rev up...

blaster is A 98,,, and as far as i know the previous owner just cut the wires off and thats it...there is the wires and plug coming off the carb and thats it,,and the wire at the throttle has been cut off.
even if it isnt you cant hold the parking brake thing on the handlebars tight to the bars and try to rev it
ok sorry for wrong info on the year,,may not make a difference, but its a 96 blaster, not a 98.....
and bike doesnt even want to idle, i can hold it wide open and it stays low idle for a sec then it will quit..
im soaking the carb over nite and checking the reed valves and will go from there i guess.
i cant see any evidence of the tors even being hook up in any way,,brains are disconnected, disconnected at the carb,cut off at the throttle and there is no parking break.
just seems like its not getting the gas..
