went for anew years eve ride with the wife and a friend of ours.. was having a great time!!.. tell we found some small open water spots on a creek, my trie went threw but only about 3 inches in.. w/e no big deal.
so do some screwing around on the channel by where we unloaded, wheelies, roosts drifts donuts. speed runs. and went for a pass down the river as far as we can go, came back, wife was drag racing me, and we slowed down to go under 2 train bridges, and i let her ahead of me.
come under road bridge by where we were parked, next thing i know i see water flying up from the wifes wheeler, and see her front end dip down , so i down shifted and leaned back, right as i hit the water i see her go ass over tea kettle, i get out of the water, hit my kill switch and bail off to go help her.
She is layin almost face down in 3 inches of water!!!! i wipe my gloves off and helmet, she was complaining her arm hurt. she had her helmet on so it kept her face outta the water, so i made sure her neck/back didnt hurt and i grabbed her coat and drug her out of the water!
my buddy and i helped her up, my buddy flipped her wheeler back over which was upside down in 4 inches of water,
TURNS out this partucular water discharge trickles water al the time which is no big deal.. they built a new one across from it and this one never ran last year... well it ran this year.. 6-8 inches of water on top of the ice!!!
wife is ok.. her right arm hurts but nothing is cracked or broken... and the honda is fine except for the clutch being frozen, throttle frozen, seat and tank are solid ice now!!... and nothing is broke BUT she has a sweet custom clutch lever now lol!!
