first off im sorry if their is already a thousand posts about this but im new and still haven't figured everything out yet...

My blaster isn't getting spark!!! When i kick it, it feels like their is compression and everything. its a brand new spark plug b8es... but heres the thing, when i got it the guy before me had done a wire remove thing to it... I checked it with using the only must have wires diy picture but instead of using this kill switch he used the key switch... it all looks good but i was just wondering if that had anything to do with it??? somone please tell me why im not getting spark, i want to ride!!!I:I

check to see if your stator is giving power, if it is check your CDI if it is check your coil. those are the three things that control the spark.

take your flywheel cover side off and unconnect your cables coming from the stator(out of that location)(label them if you cant see the different colours to put it back together) use a multi meter on the correct setting to check for volatage and put the right cable on then stick it in each wire and turn over then engine. check to see if your geting any power.

now im not sure which is which, but different wires are ofr different things, i know 1 will be for the lighting system and maybe the 2 others for engine but im not sure. maybe someone else knows.

yeah, my tors was removed by the person that owned it before me... me and my friend are going to check for voltage this weekend... but if i am getting voltage from my stator then it has to be the coil right? because my actual plug is brand new...

it could also be your cdi box. if you have voltage the CORRECT coming from your stator, you need to check the resistance of your coil, then check your spark plug boot. if that isn't it then its your cdi box, double check all connections and kill switches.

thanks guys for the help... its running now but it feels kinda weak... my buddy has a blaster and he said it feels like it not really hitting the powerband... it hasn't been started in a year, i replaced the stator and coil. (both bad) it started right up on the first kick but smoked heavily for about 5 straight minutes then went away. its only ran about 15 minutes total, rode it around the yard and popped up a wheelie... it barely smokes now... but still feels weaker than my friends... both stock, his has fmf pipe and silencer, mine only has the front fmf pipe... (douche bag before me left the stock silencer on) any ideas???
