I just bought my first ever four-wheeler and i changed the transmission fluid and cleaned up around the motor and stuff and after that i went for a ride. I noticed a lot of white smoke, A LOT, so I immediately checked my tranny fluid and it was LOW. So i need help if somebody can tell me where i can get the crank seals from and what i need to do the job and kind of walk me through the process. Also what all i need to take a part:-/. THANKS IN ADVANCED

Drain oil, remove clutch cover. Leave oil lines on pump if equiped. Either use rag or penny between gears, remove gears, key, spacer, seal. Pack seal with grease (or at least lube with grease). Ocasionally it will leak at the collar or keyway, so a bit of threebond or such won't hurt

Wow i appreciate the Super quick response so can I just get that crank seals from ebay or yall know a better place to order them from. And will all the seals be the same for all year models because mine is a 2001? How will I use the dry wall screws?

How mush oil did you put in and was the smoke coming out the end of the exhaust ?

This is how it happened. I got that 4wheeler to my house, checked the oil and you couldnt see any oil in the little window and so i drained it and some came out but not much so I refilled it with new oil to where the upper mark is in the little window. i went to ride for a while and it was smoking really bad. so i checked oil again and couldnt see any in the little window again. i put more, it stared smoking again and its white smoke and smells like oil.

All models take the same seals.

Gently insert the screws into the old seal , grip with pliers or other clamping tool and pull to remove seals..
