well i got the blaster to start finally after months of buying every last nickle and dime part for it, and some stuff thats not so nickle and dime....well it wouldn't idle without the choke on, so i checked the carb cap and it was loose...it wouldn't tighten, neither would the original tors unit....then looked closer and the threads on the top of my carb are stripped. FML so now looking for another carb and hopefully i can still get the stuff by the end of the week so i can ride next weekend....

yeah i'm probably going to use it as an excuse to get an oko 28 or 30...and i was planning on rippin on this next weekend so hopefully i find something and can get it by friday...

i've been working on it and dumping money into it since october and this is how it thanks me....lol

guys i just want to say i love blasterforum!! within a couple hours of posting i had a 28mm carb offered to me that i should have by the end of the week. you guys rock

dude your goin to be sooo happy when its done.. all the stress will melt away once you go for a nice long ride.

i certainly hope so lol, i'm resisting the urge to buy some beadlocks and stuff this week still lol. gotta make myself sell some things before i buy anything else...

AND IT STRIKES AGAIN!!!! put the new carb on it, try to kick it over and it sounds funny.....well one of the base nuts loosened up after the first heat cycle and blew out the base gasket, i think that i'm going to do a little clean up on the jug now....
