I have a clutch cover you can have for the cost of shipping it. It's not the prettiest thing in the world but it will work. It's too rough for me to pollish

Ok i lied. I just looked closely at the cover and found a small crack in the dent that was keeping me from pollishing it. sorry.

can any one help me with my blaster problem. should i be very worried about something wrong. also i might just ship the motor to ken oconner

Wowz, that's a nice example of what happens when lazy people leave their torn-apart machinery in the weather. Real sorry, man, that sucks! Obviously you'll need a top end rebuild for the KX80, but I don't think you're hosed. I'd just get Ken to rebuild the crank, throw on some new crank bearings and seals, and seal it all back up. The cases should clean up well, provided you're patient.

Take a wire wheel to that cylinder and see how much of the rust you can get out. It will obviously need to be bored out, but provided that the walls aren't pitted badly (you can tell once you get all the rust out), you can probably get away with boring it out only one size over. Bad rust damage will require more boring. Worst case, the cylinder is too far gone and will either have to be replaced or re-sleeved.

Good luck! Looks like a fun (if labor intensive) project!

just fixin an error its a kx 100 and yea the jack ass told me it needed piston and rings but hey i got a hell of a deal. a new ps3 slim 120 gig 2 controllers and about 8 games a rm 85 and that kx for my xbox and nitro car

^^Yeah, not a bad deal at all, even if you need to do some work on it. Thats kinda like the trade I did this last fall...traded a worn-out Warrior for a running Banshee. I got a little more of a project than I bargained for, but a Banshee is still a Banshee...

You might be able to find a good, used engine or bottom end for sale locally that's in better shape than the one you've got. Considering all the work it's gonna take to get this one back in running shape, you may be better off getting another wrecked 100 off somebody for a couple hundred and just swap motors. The frame and carb on this 100 doesn't look bad at all...easy fix I would think, once you figure out what you're gonna do with the motor situation.

i got a yz 250 that needs rebuilt. xkronik13x said it would be sick if i could mount the motor in the kx frame. i agree that would be sick that bike would hull ass

True that! IDK, its worth a try... Personally, I'd rather keep the larger engine in the larger frame, but that's just me. And I'm 6'2" and cant even try to fit on smaller bikes...
