I got a hole in the motor.

There is a hole in my motor. It looks like it should be there but I want to know what it is for and how to reliably plug it.

is it me or does it look like theres a hole in the jug by the reeds

same bottom end as the DT200, the DT200 hs wires that come thru that hole

yeah theres a rubber half oval deal that goes there, can probably order one. you dont want sh*t getting inside there, thats your flywheel and stator setup so you will do damage if you fill it with dirt and water.

and dude, please clean your engine. that things crusty as hell.

That engine is dirty, the chain is rusty!!! looks like you need some major cleaning!

I just bought the blasty yesturday. All that will be clean. Where can I order the little rubber plug?

a yamaha dealer, or a local shop that can order yamy parts.

if the engine is that dirty ill bet that the flywheel and stator are filled with dirt and water...um i would check it,also i agree with blaster20001 kinda looks like between the jug and reeds theres an opening,i dunno

Thanks for the help guys. I looked at the jug and there is no hole. I am sure no water or dirt got in there but I am going to look tomorrow. Just to be sure. The guy I bought it from didn't take care of it at all.

I dont see a hole...I mean I see the hole that he is talking about that needs to be plugged with the rubber and I see the hole from the intake boot where the carb goes in to. There isnt any other holes that I see!

I think they are talking about the intake boot. Well I found a site that had the rubber part so I ordered that and some new screws. Thanks for all the help guys.

no im not talking about the intake boot if u look at the top left bolt that holds the intake boot and reeds in it looks like theres a chunk missing near the jug
