a throttle cable with cap that removes the tors off the carb and was wondering about the idle.do you have to make an idle screw or whats it all about.right now i just have it unpluged

If your cable will adjust enough to hold the slide up no, but usually you need to drill for an idle screw.

if its the kit, it should have an idle screw.

thanks.the kit i found with the cap is $50.is that to much or what?i seen the kit you showed me was 25 but is it worth just buying it with the cap?

don't adjust your idle with the cable adjustment.....

unless you like pinning it every time you turn the handlebars, then go for it.

Adjusting your idle with your cable is just not the correct way to do things... It can cause more problems down the line. Just get the idle screw and do it correctly.
