I f***ing give up!

well guys i took the hood of my yfz to see if the connections for lights were there! and i had to take a wire of the ignition to get it off so i realised the ignition was badly wired so i put it back on ( the hood) and hey no power (fan not coming on or the starter) so i took it the hood of and everything is connected the same as i remembered ! still nothing ! wtf can i do i aint been this frustrated in a very long time X( i have a vid of the wiri and a pic of the ignition of the china quad .. what can i do i aint great at wiring ! the only thing that i know i can do is order a new harness ! ,but the i will have to order a new fan and the thing that tells the fan when to come on which means it will be sitting till june! il put the vid up in a few but i doubt it will make any difference!

you obvioulsy have something wrong. just get a manual, or go on yfz central and show them the picture. not much any of us can do cuz we dont own yfz's

not sure man, maybe spend the coin on a clymers book?? figure out what wires are for the key, and wire in the ig switch, than run the fan into the ignition so it comes on with the key

you run into problems like this when you make the low end of the trade. believe me, been there done that.

repair manuals are your friend. they have ignition wiring diagrams and a wiring diagram of the entire machine.

That yfz is not going to be a cheap quad to fix up. Dont give up unless your wallet tells you to do so. I think before you bought it many of us told you it will take lots of green includeing manuals and parts.

i say get the clymers. look at the diagrams and see where that gets you. i dont understand all the bare wires sitting there besides the fact the idiot who had it obviously didnt know what they were doing and looks like they rigged it a good bit. i would redo all the wiring if it were mine...

i wanna redo it to the problem is he has all the connections(the bits that clip into the arness) fuged up to , i donr mind leaving it the way it was as it was fine for me but now this!
