How can you tell the difference between a 97 and a '00 yamaha blaster without looking at the vin number?

why not look at the vin?


there's no reason to know the difference they're functionally the same and everything is interchangeable

i cant see the vin and some people have told me its a 97 and some a ;00

why can't you see the vin? has it been ground off? filled in with paint?

its on th lowst piece of the frame on the left beside the shifter!

vin is on the bottom left frame rail, in front of the peg, and that is the only for sure way to tell what year your blaster is.

ya im ganna scratch them off what years did they use the black and yellow plastics?
