How to replace an exhaust gasket?

not sure if thats the actual name for the part but i need to replace the gasket that is in between the engine and the expansion pipe on my 2000 blaster, how would i go about doing that? :-/ pictures would help considering im only 15 and i just got the atv, its my first atv(i come from dirt bikes) and i dont know much about it.

That lead gasket is simple to replace . Order a new gasket from yamaha and remove your headpipe . Then gently with a small screwdriver pry out the old one and clean up the opening really well and slide in the new one . It may not want to just slide in easy , so rub a little oil around the outer edge and tap it in with a mallet and reinstall your exhaust . .
