how to remove springs off shocks

Looking at powder coating my shock coils on my blaster but don't know how to remove the coils from the shocks.

Here is the best way to deal with stock shocks

1 I have already seen that video only 100 times and 2 I have a 400ex rear shock for it but I switched it back after one day of riding because it sucked ass. It was basically new too.
