I missed out on a few sweet big bore 2 strokes... While back there was a piped kx500 on cl for 700 bucks, n a piped fresh rebuild wr500 for a grand... And. A 87??? Cr500 for 600

Wife keeps squashin my dreams of having a big bore bike she may not be able to stop me come tax time lol... Get a 500 and pur 250 stickers on it hehehehe she will never know

Ours looked a lot like this:

It was an '85 I do believe. We had to get rid of it because it was getting really hard to find parts for it and it needed rebuilt. We ended up rebuilding it and selling it before the parts were completely gone. I'll ask my dad tomorrow if he has any pictures. Had a DG pipe and the rest was stock I do believe...

see i heard the early crs made the most power....

i dont think he had to worry about gripping... did you see the roost coming off the rear tire even when he was wheeling

I have a 1992 CR500 as well as a 1982 Cr480 and a 1971 CZ380.

Big bores are a blast to ride.

I've seen most of the CR500 videos if they've been tagged correctly.

This is one of my favorites.
